Hi Chris,

In the recent Turkey earthquake many of the buildings that collapsed were
built recently to accommodate a large influx of people into the cities.  The
construction quality was poor.

I think the steel box idea is a good one, at least for some situations.  I 
think it would help many people in the 10+ story concrete buildings that
totally collapse, however.
