Greetings,
I have a new WinSDR version ready for everyone to use. The version number is
2.0.2. You can download it from here http://www.seismicnet.com/WinSDR/. I
also have a new firmware release for the Serial Output A/D board. The new
firmware release fixes a bug I found the other day related to time keeping.
If your are using this A/D board you should upgrade to the new firmware.
This problem is not in SDR Server so the version number remains at 1.5.
Here's what's new with this release:
Improved the time display in the GIF file images. You won't see one line
with a time of 1:00 and the next line 1:59 etc. I also added an option to
display Local time on the GIF images. You will need to enter your standard
and daylight savings time abbreviations like PST/PDT or EST/EDT in the
Display Settings dialog box.
Added code to close WinSDR when the system shuts down.
The Log File Viewer window can now move with the main WinSDR window, if the
"Lock Viewer Location" check box is checked in the Log File Options dialog
box. If not locked, the Log File Viewer will not move then the WinSDR window
is moved. The Log File Options dialog box can now control the title bar of
the Log File Viewer. By turning off the title bar, the window occupies less
space on the desktop. You can move the log file viewer when the title bar is
not being displayed by clicking on the frame of the viewer. You can also
toggle the title bar on or off by double clicking on the viewer frame.
WinSDR will now toggle the A/D board CPU reset line, pin 4 of the 9 pin Comm
port, when no data is received from the board.
